Here at Musilesson, we’re big fans of classical composers. One of our favorites is Beethoven. In fact, we love him so much that we’ve given him an alternative name: Baethoven.
Sure, it’s all in fun. But Beethoven is a great choice for any occasion. It’s not hard to see why his music has graced both the symphonic stages of Europe and the silver screens of cinema.
Listening to Beethoven’s music, one can hear the origins of some of the greatest music in movie history. I personally contend that Beethoven’s music was a major influence on John Williams, the composer of the Star Wars soundtracks.
And hey, let’s face it, Die Hard just wouldn’t be the same without Ode To Joy blasting in the background as the camera does a close up on the bad guys. Can we all agree that Beethoven helped make John McClane famous?
At any rate, we salute Beethoven and his contributions to all things music!
